Fearless Beauties Certification
Why Fearless Beauties?
Discussion on treating skin of color is still too often summed up with a few sentences that state skin of color is more challenging to treat and therefore requires additional classes to learn about. Information about ethnic skin is still missing in standardized esthetics textbooks but may be located in separate "other" books that are not carried as a part of a common curricula.
It is the mission of Fearless Beauties:
- to change the esthetic education in our country by developing curricula that are inclusive of all ethnic, racial, and cultural backgrounds
- to highlight entrepreneurs of color, on social media and at events, in order to increase their visibility and share their insights into success in the esthetic industry.
- to become an influencer, so that our presence moves the needle toward equality in the field of esthetics.
Treating Skin with Confidence

As Americans, we need to recognize and legitimize that minorities within our country may have different standards of beauty and different ways of honoring and respecting beauty. By developing a more inclusive education, we elevate our entire industry."
