What license do I need to perform these services in Texas?

In the State of Texas, paramedical tattooing falls under the Department of State Health Services (DSHS). While an Esthetics or Cosmetology license provides a great foundation, you must hold a valid Tattoo Artist License and perform these services in a DSHS-Licensed Tattoo Studio. We guide all students through the simple process of obtaining their personal license during Module 1.

Why is this a 100-hour program instead of a 2-day workshop?

Short-form workshops often skip the critical "why" behind the science. Our 100-hour curriculum ensures you master skin anatomy, pigment chemistry, and clinical safety. Most medical practices and oncology centers will only partner with artists who can prove extensive clinical training hours. We are building experts, not just technicians.

Do I need to be a licensed Esthetician or Nurse to enroll?

No. While many of our students come from the medical or beauty fields, there are no state-mandated prerequisites for paramedical tattooing. However, a passion for detail and a commitment to clinical sanitation are essential for success in this program.

Will I work on live models during the course?

Yes. Hands-on experience is the core of our curriculum. Depending on the levels you select, you will work on live models for Inkless Revision, Scalp Micropigmentation, and Scar Camouflage under the direct supervision of our Master Instructors.

How do I get insurance for these specialized services?

Standard Esthetician insurance often does not cover "tattooing" or "paramedical" procedures. We provide all graduates with a list of our preferred Professional Liability Insurance carriers who offer specialized "PMU & Paramedical" riders.

Is the professional equipment included in the tuition?

Yes. Our Master Kit is a "one-and-done" professional setup. It includes a high-end wireless rotary machine, medical-grade power supplies, and a full inventory of pigments and serums for all five levels. You will be ready to see your first private client the day after you graduate.

Can I take individual levels, or must I take all five?

While we highly recommend the 5-Level Mastery Bundle for the best ROI and a complete skill set, we do offer individual certifications and specialty "Combos" (e.g., the Scalp Specialist or the Oncology Duo). You can "level up" at your own pace.
