Laser Hair Removal is one of the most popular skincare  treatments in the world and it is one of the fastest-growing niches in  the multi-billion-dollar health and beauty industry. According to ASAPS  reports, one million laser hair removal treatments were done last year  in the United States, alone. This shows that more and more technicians  will be in demand.

Laser hair removal procedures take between 15  and 45 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated. These sessions can be lucrative for both technicians, employers and employees since most clients need more than one session to see permanent results.

Also, laser hair removal technicians have the opportunity to work in  dermatology clinics, doctors’ offices, medical spas, and salons which  will help them earn better salaries which having a positive influence on their clients. Technicians will also have the opportunity to open their  own clinics which will maximize their income while having the freedom of being their own boss.

It depends on your state, as some states do not require any special license. However, most states require that the technician be a licensed cosmetologist or esthetician.

1. APPRENTICE IN TRAINING - 40 Hour Laser Hair Removal certification course provides the study of theory, practice and science of laser hair removal procedures.  
2. CERTIFIED LASER TECHNICIAN - By completing 100 Hands-on Treatments, the student is able to expedite his or her registration status with TDLR.  
3. SENIOR LASER TECHNICIAN - In this level, it is required that you Observe 100 Hands-on Treatments being performed by an apprentice. 
4. PROFESSIONAL LASER TECHNICIAN - This is the final, highest level. In this level, it is required to take a written exam. Once you have completed the exam and reached a passing grade, you will receive a Professional Laser Technician certificate. To obtain your Professional Laser Technician License from the state you must mail a copy of your certificate along with the application and state processing fees.

750 hours of Elite Esthetics Training to fulfill the Esthetician License requirements set forth by the Texas Department of Rules and Regulation (TDLR)

We offer the following schedules for the first 750 Hours of Elite Esthetics:

• Full-time Days - 8:30am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday for approx. 6 months
• Part-time Days - 8:30am to 2:15pm Monday through Thursday  for approx. 8 months. 
• Part-time Nights- 6:00pm to 10:30pm Monday through Thursday for approx. 10 months.
