Laser technician training will enable laser technicians to learn how to perform the follow services:

• Stretch Mark Reduction
• Photofacials Skin Rejuvenation
• Tattoo Removal
• Acne and Acne Scar Reduction
• Radiofrequency Skin Tightening

Laser technician training is a beneficial way to expand one’s career in Esthetics or as a successful stand-alone career as a Laser Technician.

Our Laser Hair Removal Courses cover the science and application of 4 types of laser hair removal devices as well as laser hair removal training. This is necessary for students who are looking to find employment in medical spas, physicians’ offices and clinics. To be completed in the following 2 parts:

1. 40-Hour Laser Hair Removal Apprentice-in-Training course: Level one provides the study of theory, practice and science of laser hair removal procedures. 
2. Laser Technician Training 100 hands-on treatment areas: Level two is to be completed on campus at Avante Laser Training Institute under the direct supervision of either our Registered Senior or Professional Laser Hair Removal Technician. 

To further advance your laser career, the following courses are required to become a Senior Level Technician or LHR Instructor:

1. Senior Laser Technician - In this level, it is required that you Observe 100 Hands-on Treatments being performed by an apprentice.  
2. Professional Laser Technician - This is the final, highest level. In this level, it is required to take a written exam. Once you have completed the exam and reached a passing grade, you will receive a Professional Laser Technician certificate. To obtain your Professional Laser Technician License from the state you must mail a copy of your certificate along with the application and state processing fees. 

The  Laser Hair Removal Courses are approved by Texas Department of Licensing and Registration as well as Texas Workforce Commission for the state of Texas Laser Hair Removal Technician license.

It is important to keep in mind that the person who wants to perform the laser technician job must undergo some type of laser technician training regardless if they are estheticians or practicing dermatologists.
